Oil prices dipped on Friday after reaching a one-week high on Thursday. Brent crude declined by $0.87, or 0.82%, to settle at $105.73 per barrel at 02:12 GMT. Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate fell by $1.56, or 1.65%, to reach $93.05 per barrel.

The prices had surged on Thursday, with Brent settling 3.4% higher and West Texas Intermediate gaining 2.7%. The recent fluctuations in oil prices have been driven by various factors, including global demand and supply chain disruptions.
