Oil Prices Soar Amid US-Iran Deal Uncertainty
Oil prices reached a one-week high on Tuesday due to growing uncertainty over a potential US-Iran deal and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.34% to 53,791.85 as traders grew more pessimistic about a deal between the two nations.
Brent futures rose $1.19 or 1.4% to settle at $88.91 a barrel, while US crude finished up $1.07 or 1.3% at $83.20.
