Oil Prices Weigh on Asian Markets as US Bond Market Fluctuations Continue

Asian shares traded mixed on Thursday as investors weighed oil prices and US bond market fluctuations. The CAC 40 in France fell nearly 0.8% to 8,061.10, while the German DAX declined 0.9% to 25,183.19.

The Nikkei 225 in Japan gained 0.8% to finish at 65,513.99, boosted by some chipmakers' rise due to interest in artificial intelligence. However, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 fell 0.7% to 8,702.00.

In energy trading, benchmark U.S. crude rose 2.35% to $94.33 a barrel, while Brent crude gained 2.77% to $106.94 a barrel.
