Okoro Assumes Command of 6 Division in Port Harcourt

Major General Everest Okoro has taken command of the 6 Division in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He succeeds Major General Emmanuel Emekah, who expressed appreciation to his officers and soldiers for their discipline and loyalty during his tenure.

In his farewell address, Major General Emekah noted that the Division's operations had contributed to an increase in Nigeria's daily crude oil production from about 1.3 million barrels to 1.5 million barrels per day.

Major General Okoro has pledged to consolidate on this achievement by sustaining efforts to protect critical national infrastructure and support initiatives aimed at boosting oil production.
