ORLEN and Naftogaz Expand Energy Cooperation with New Agreements

Polish energy company ORLEN and Ukrainian national oil and gas company Naftogaz have strengthened their strategic cooperation through two memoranda of understanding.

The agreements aim to develop collaboration in liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies, diversify supply routes, and ensure the stability of energy supplies in Ukraine and the wider region.

Under one memorandum, ORLEN and Naftogaz will explore the potential supply of three LNG cargoes in the first quarter of 2027. This would complement ORLEN's existing LNG trading activities and reinforce its role as a reliable supplier in regional markets.

The parties also intend to cooperate in petroleum product supplies to the Ukrainian market, including the possibility of supplying Ukrainian crude oil for processing at refineries in Central Europe.
