Pakistan Gold Market Surges 7.46% in One Week

Gold prices in Pakistan's local market experienced a sharp rise over the past week, increasing by approximately Rs. 31,936 per tola from August 8 to August 15.

The international gold rate also moved higher during this period, rising from $4,343 to $4,376 per ounce.

However, the increase in Pakistan's local gold price was more pronounced, with prices reaching Rs. 459,936 per tola by the end of the week.

This represents a weekly gain of around 7.46% for local gold buyers.
