Pakistan's gold prices have seen a slight decrease on Tuesday, according to data compiled by FXStreet. The price of gold per gram fell to PKR 39,555.91 from PKR 39,696.31 on Monday, while the tola rate eased to PKR 461,380.20 compared with PKR 463,010.00 a day earlier.

FXStreet's methodology involves converting international gold rates through the USD/PKR exchange rate and applying local measurement units. The note also highlights that central banks are the largest holders of gold, having purchased over 1,136 tonnes valued at around $70 billion in 2022, according to the World Gold Council.

Experts view this minor correction as a short-term dip offering a prime entry window for derivative traders looking to capitalize on upcoming market shifts. Historically, September brings increased liquidity and volatility to precious metals, making this brief pause a tactical buying opportunity.
