Gold prices in Pakistan opened lower on Monday, following a decline in international bullion markets. The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped to Rs436,336, while 10 grams of gold was quoted at Rs374,087. The fall in domestic rates mirrored a $43 per ounce decrease in global gold prices, which settled at $4,138 per ounce.

Prices for lower karat gold also saw adjustments. 22-karat gold was priced at Rs400,583 per tola, 21-karat at Rs382,375, and 18-karat at Rs327,750. The downward trend was attributed to international market movements, with local rates often aligning with global shifts and currency fluctuations.

Silver prices in Pakistan also declined, falling by Rs56 per tola to Rs6,522. Regional variations were observed in gold rates, with Lahore reporting prices between Rs437,000 and Rs436,000 per tola. In Pathoor, rates ranged from Rs431,000 to Rs429,000, while Karachi saw gold priced at Rs438,000 per tola. Peshawar recorded the highest rate at Rs448,500 per tola.
