Pakistan Gold Prices Fluctuate Amid International Market Trends
Gold prices in Pakistan have been fluctuating daily due to international market trends, USD exchange rate, and local demand. The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) benchmark price for 24K gold stands at Rs. 460,436 per tola, reflecting official trading adjustments.
The open market transactions in local Sarafa bazaars are hovering around Rs. 453,500 per tola. On the international front, gold trades near $4,376 per ounce, while international silver rests at $64.7 per ounce, maintaining indirect pressure on domestic bullion prices.
Regional variations remain prominent across domestic trading hubs, with Peshawar leading local market premiums due to regional demand and movement. Pure raw gold (Pathoor 24K) is currently discounted at a standard Rs. 4,000 margin below refined 24K bars, selling at Rs. 449,500 per tola.
