Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet by Rs4,300 Amid Global Market Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted by Rs4,300 per tola on Saturday, mirroring losses seen in the international market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, one tola of gold now costs Rs436,336.

The price of 10 grams of gold has also decreased, dropping by Rs3,687 to Rs374,087. This decline comes after a short-lived gain on Friday when the gold price per tola reached Rs440,636, up from an earlier loss of Rs2,000 during the day.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also taken a hit, decreasing by Rs56 to reach Rs6,522 per tola. The global market is clearly having an impact on local markets, with gold prices falling by $43 to $4,138 per ounce in the international market.
