Pakistan Gold Prices Plunge on August 2 Amid Market Correction
The gold market in Pakistan experienced a slight decline on August 2, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola dipping to Rs426,736. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs3,202, settling at Rs365,857.
Bullion traders in Lahore reported that 24-karat gold was available at Rs430,000 per tola for selling and Rs429,500 for buying. In Karachi, the selling price of 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs429,000 per tola, indicating a general decline in the country's bullion market.
The prices of other types of gold, including 22-karat and 21-karat, also showed a decrease. The 22-karat gold price stood at Rs394,166 per tola, while the 21-karat gold was available at Rs376,250 per tola.
