Pakistan Gold Prices Rise Despite Global Weekly Losses

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Friday despite weekly losses globally. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, gold increased by Rs2,000 per tola to Rs440,636.

The price of 10-gram gold also rose by Rs1,715 to Rs377,774. In contrast, international bullion markets reversed earlier gains due to a stronger US dollar and elevated US Treasury yields.

Spot gold fell 0.8% to $4,145.68 per ounce after gaining earlier in the session. US gold futures were down 0.7% at $4,173.50 per ounce. The precious metal is down around 3.3% for the week.
