Pakistan Gold Prices Skyrocket Amid International Market Gains

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Wednesday, echoing gains in the international market. The local price of gold per tola reached Rs457,236 after a significant increase of Rs7,900 during the day.

The APGJSA reported that 10-gram gold was sold at Rs392,006, a result of an accumulation of Rs6,773.

Gold prices had declined by Rs4,000 on Tuesday to reach Rs449,336 per tola. In contrast, the international rate of gold jumped by $79 to reach $4,347 per ounce.

The price of silver also saw a gain of Rs140, reaching Rs6,942 per tola.
