Pakistan Gold Prices Soar as International Market Sees $17 Surge

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs1,700 to reach Rs428,436, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The association also reported that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,457 to Rs367,314, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold gained Rs1,335 to reach Rs336,716.

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $17 to $4,060 per ounce. Silver prices also recorded an upward trend in the local market, with the price of silver per tola increasing by Rs54 to Rs6,291, and the price of 10 grams of silver rising by Rs46 to Rs5,393.

The association reported that the price of silver in the international market increased by $0.54 to $58.12 per ounce. The rise in gold prices is attributed to various factors, including geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty.
