The Pakistani government announced a revision in petroleum prices for September 26-28, raising petrol prices by Rs2.02 per litre and cutting high-speed diesel (HSD) prices by Rs3.59 per litre.

Petrol will now sell at Rs391.30 per litre, up from the previous rate of Rs389.28, while HSD has been reduced to Rs408.53 per litre from Rs412.12, according to the Petroleum Division.

The revised ex-depot prices are attributed to movements in international Platts rates and premiums, as stated by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) under the federal government's petroleum pricing mechanism.
