Pakistan Set to Hike Petrol, Diesel Prices Amid US-Iran Tensions

The Pakistani government is set to increase the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel due to rising international oil prices following renewed tensions between the United States and Iran.

According to sources, the price of petrol will rise by Rs. 13 per liter to Rs. 310 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel will increase to Rs. 324 per liter.

The new rates are expected to be effective for one week following an official notification from the Petroleum Division.
