Proman Trinidad, the largest tenant on the Point Lisas Industrial Estate in Trinidad and Tobago, is undergoing restructuring due to ongoing natural gas supply constraints.

The company confirmed that it will be reducing its headcount as part of a review of its organisational structure to align with current operating realities.

Proman CEO David Cassidy stated that the company's people, customers, communities, and presence in Trinidad and Tobago remain committed despite the uncertainty facing affected employees.

The restructuring comes amid growing pressure on Trinidad's gas-based manufacturing sector, with Nutrien Ltd announcing a controlled shutdown of its operations at Point Lisas due to port access restrictions and a lack of reliable natural gas supply.
