Qatari LNG Shipments Resume Through Strait of Hormuz After Three-Week Halt

A Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier has successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz for the first time in three weeks, under procedures authorized by Iran. This development comes after Tehran announced that maritime transit through the waterway would require Iranian approval due to alleged US violations of a previous understanding.

The Qatari vessel transited the strait with Iran's permission, following a designated route set by Iranian authorities. The passage was incident-free and the vessel is now heading towards international waters.
