Renforth Resources Inc. has reported promising assay results from two drillholes at its Parbec Gold Deposit in Malartic, Quebec. The drillholes, PAR-26-149 and PAR-26-150, successfully intersected gold above the cut-off grade used in the April 2025 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) within the open pit footprint. Notably, PAR-26-149 yielded the highest single sample result of 15.68 g/t Au over 0.85m, while PAR-26-150 delivered the highest grade-thickness result of 9.41 g/t Au over 4.05m.
Nicole Brewster, President and CEO of Renforth, expressed satisfaction with the results, highlighting that the drill intersections included both high and low grades and long widths. The company plans to update the MRE internally, incorporating a gold price closer to the current market value, historic surface channels, and recent 2026 trench and drillhole results. Brewster emphasized the potential positive impact of these updates but noted that the outcome is pending.
The drill program was designed to test areas under previously announced surface gold results obtained during a surface stripping and channel cutting program. The results confirmed the presence of gold mineralization in previously untested areas of the 2025 MRE deposit model. The QA/QC procedures also highlighted the known nugget effect at Parbec, with some samples flagged for heterogeneity.
