Riyadh Airport Hit by Airborne Attack Amid Houthi Escalation

An airborne attack targeted jet-fuel storage at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's capital, on Saturday, marking the first direct assault on the city in months.

The strike hit facilities storing jet fuel at the airfield, three officials said. It was unclear whether a drone or missile caused the damage.

The Houthis, Yemen's Iranian-backed rebels, have been squeezing Saudi Arabia's oil exports by controlling key routes and ports.
