Russia's largest Black Sea oil export terminal has suspended operations due to an increased threat from Ukrainian drones. The Sheskharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk halted tanker loadings on Tuesday morning, according to Bloomberg.

The disruption marks the latest sign that Ukraine's drone campaign is affecting Russia's energy export infrastructure, following recent attacks at nearby terminals and forced oil production cuts in Kazakhstan.

The Sheskharis terminal exports an average of 650,000 barrels of oil per day. With Russia's seaborne oil exports averaging 3.6 million barrels daily this year, the suspension has halted around one-fifth of the country's oil exports.
