Russia's Industrial Shift: TNF 2026 Puts Spotlight on Energy Technology and Asian Markets
The XI International Industrial and Energy Forum (TNF 2026) was held in Tyumen from September 14-17, marking a significant expansion of Russia's industrial and energy-technology agenda.
For the first time, TNF operated with full international status, connecting Russian oil-and-gas producers, technology companies, equipment manufacturers, universities, and government institutions with foreign energy markets.
The forum had over 18,000 participants from more than 60 Russian regions, with approximately 80% representing senior executives from the fuel-and-energy complex and related industries.
Major participants included Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, LUKOIL, NOVATEK, Surgutneftegaz, and leading oilfield-service companies. International participation came from Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas and QazaqGaz, Belarusian companies, China, Vietnam, Iran, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and the UAE's ADNOC.
More than 50 cooperation agreements, over 200 technology launches, and more than 200 business meetings were reported.
