Saipem Unveils Two Innovative FLNG Solutions

Saipem has developed two Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) solutions, FLNGenius and ZR-FLNG. FLNGenius can produce from 3 to 4 MTPA of LNG depending on the feed gas characteristics.

The FLNGenius is a fully integrated gas pre-treatment system based on plug-and-play standard 'design bricks' that enables deployment across a broad range of reservoirs. Its flexibility allows it to accommodate different liquefaction technologies, allowing optimisation of plant performance according to field-specific requirements.

ZR-FLNG, Saipem's mid-scale FLNG product, is designed for resources with challenging project economics. Powered by LiqueflexTM 2.0 technology, ZR-FLNG can be deployed through a standardised new-build hull or the conversion of existing LNG carriers to improve cost competitiveness.
