Saudi Allies Rally Against Houthi Attacks as Oil Flows Disrupted

The military chiefs of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan are set to meet to discuss support for Saudi Arabia under a mutual defence pact. This comes after the grand mufti of Saudi Arabia called on soldiers to be ready to fight the Iran-aligned Houthi group in Yemen.

The Houthis have launched dozens of missiles and drones at several targets in Saudi Arabia, disrupting oil flows from the world's largest energy-exporting country. The attacks have been ongoing for weeks, with the Houthis repeatedly targeting Saudi territory.

Saudi authorities said they had intercepted six ballistic missiles fired by Houthi forces on Thursday. Earlier, Saudi Arabia issued emergency warnings for several areas, including the holy city of Mecca, Jeddah, and Yanbu, home to Saudi Arabia's main oil port on the Red Sea.
