Saudi Arabia Celebrates 96 Years of Progress and Partnership

Saudi Arabia celebrated its 96th National Day on September 23rd with fireworks and festivities in Riyadh's Kingdom Center. The country's progress is reflected in its slogan, 'Our Pride Lies in Our Nature,' which showcases courage, value, authenticity, determination, generosity, and hospitality.

The kingdom has undergone significant transformations since the founding of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud in 1932, with a focus on modernization under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. The Saudi Vision 2030 road map aims to solidify its global leadership in technology, energy, tourism, and sports.

The country's partnership with Korea has been strengthened through bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sectors, including a memorandum of understanding signed in June. The Shaheen Project is a $7 billion investment by Saudi Aramco and S-Oil in the world's largest refining and steam cracker project. This technological alliance between the two nations demonstrates their commitment to shared progress.
