Saudi Arabia Shoots Down Yemen-Made Ballistic Missiles Targeting Oil Refineries

Saudi Arabia's air defense system intercepted two ballistic missiles launched from Yemen on Wednesday. The Greek-operated defense system, deployed in Saudi Arabia, successfully shot down the missiles targeting oil refineries in the western city of Yanbu.

The incident comes after Saudi authorities issued warnings to residents in Jizan and Yanbu cities following threats by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis to retaliate against recent attacks carried out by the kingdom.
