The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen has dismissed claims by the Houthi group that they attacked Riyadh, calling the assertion 'misleading'.

Fighting between the Iran-backed Houthis and Yemen's internationally recognized government resumed in July.

The Houthis claimed responsibility for an attack on an oil facility south of Riyadh belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco.

Saudi authorities have not commented on the reported incident, which was witnessed by AFP journalist who saw flames and smoke at the oil facility near al-Khurj area.
