Saudi Arabia's oil exports have resumed via the East-West pipeline after a disruption caused by drone attacks.

The 1,200-kilometre pipeline transports crude from Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province to the Red Sea port city of Yanbu.

On September 11, several drones launched from areas in Iraq near its border with Iran hit and damaged the pipeline.

It is not clear if any oil was spilled or how much production was affected by the attack. The impact on global markets remains to be seen.
