Seligman C Force Majeure Triggers SoCal Price Surge
The Seligman C compressor station in Arizona has been hit by its third force majeure since early August, exacerbating natural gas supply constraints and driving up prices.
According to Natural Gas Intelligence, the outage cut an additional 170.5 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of capacity through EPNG's North Mainline (ML) constraint.
The resulting price spikes have pushed the SoCal Border/Waha spread to $1.840, its widest since September 8.
