Silver Bulls Test $70 as Rally Extends Amid Weak US Fiscal Stance
Silver prices have surged for the third consecutive day on Friday, reaching over $70.00 and exceeding a 7.40% gain for the week.
The upward trend is attributed to investors opting for 'flight-to-quality' over haven demand due to the challenging US fiscal stance, despite a firm US Dollar.
From a technical perspective, silver's uptrend remains in place, with traders eyeing a breakout above $70.00. Once achieved, they will target the 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) at $72.05, followed by the psychologically significant $75.00 level.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is nearing overbought levels, indicating momentum remains positive. However, if prices fall, support lies in the 100-day SMA at $68.47, below which are the August 20 low of $65.64 and the 50-day SMA at $61.35.
