Silver Futures Drop Below Rs 2 Lakh/kg Amid Participant Sell-Off

New Delhi, Silver futures declined to Rs 2.18 lakh/kg in futures trade on Friday, down by Rs 508 or 0.23 per cent from previous day's close.

This decline was seen as participants reduced their bets on the white metal, analysts said.

The Multi Commodity Exchange saw a business turnover of 1,084 lots for September delivery contracts, which fell to Rs 2,18,867 per kg.

Globally, silver prices were trading lower at USD 57.46 per ounce in New York, down by 0.23 per cent from previous day's close.
