Silver Prices Drop Slightly Amid US Interest Rate Pressure
Silver prices have weakened slightly after failing to hold above $60 per ounce. According to precious metals analyst Christopher Lewis, selling pressure is not strong enough to push prices down deeply, but the upward outlook remains under pressure from high interest rates in the US.
The domestic silver price has also declined, with a 1 tael bar of 999 silver at Ancarat Gem Company listed at 2.129-2.184 million VND (buying-selling), down 27,000 VND from yesterday's morning price. The world silver price was listed at $57.41 per ounce, down $0.93 compared to yesterday.
Analyst Lewis believes that the market is waiting for clearer signals before establishing new trends. He also noted that investors should be cautious with trading scale and risk management in the context of still large fluctuations.
