Turkish Natural Gas Trade Volume Jumps 117% on Friday

The spot market for natural gas in Türkiye experienced an increase of 117.3% on Friday, reaching around 16.3 million liras in trade volume.

This marks a significant jump from Thursday's total trade of about 7.5 million liras, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST).

The price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market was 17,602.11 Turkish liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume reached around 930,000 cubic meters.
