Silver prices in India remained unchanged for the second consecutive day on Wednesday, holding steady at ₹260 per gram. The national rate of silver stood at ₹2,600 per 10 grams, ₹26,000 per 100 grams, and ₹2,60,000 per kilogram, identical to Tuesday's levels.

The unchanged reading follows Tuesday's flat move, marking two consecutive sessions without any change in the national level. City-wise pricing was equally steady, with Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kerala holding at ₹2,650 per 10 grams, while the remaining seven cities stayed at ₹2,600 per 10 grams.

Market participants attributed the flat move to a consolidation of silver prices after last week's sharp gains. Traders said the metal's near-term direction will likely hinge on fresh cues from the US Federal Reserve and any further escalation in US-Iran tensions, alongside industrial demand from electronics and solar-panel manufacturers.
