Silver Prices Slide Ahead of Fed Decision Amid Improved Geopolitical Sentiment
Silver prices fell by 1.71% on Tuesday to around $57.40 as investors reduced their exposure to safe-haven assets ahead of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decision.
The US Dollar regained some strength, putting pressure on silver, while market sentiment improved following US President Donald Trump's comments on the talks with Iran.
Trump stated that the United States is holding 'good talks' with Iran and wants to avoid targeting critical infrastructure. He also warned that Iran can no longer break agreements.
However, risks have not disappeared completely, as Trump cautioned that US military strikes could resume if negotiations fail, and several security incidents were reported in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Iraq.
