Silver prices in India rebounded sharply on September 3, 2026, as easing geopolitical pressure and a softer dollar combined to lift the metal from multi-week lows.

The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) benchmark touched 2,37,790 per kilogram, a gain of 5,010 rupees or 2.15% from the previous business day's rate.

Internationally, spot silver climbed 5.12% to $67.41 per troy ounce on geopolitical relief after US President Donald Trump signaled openness to diplomatic channels with Iran.

The US dollar index fell 0.3% on September 3, reducing the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets like silver.
