Silver X Mining Sees Explosive Growth as Silver Price Remains Volatile
Silver X Mining has had an exceptional year, with the companies extracting silver from its operations feeling both the highs and lows of the metal's fluctuating prices. The company recently reported record second-quarter revenue of US$17.3 million, a 29% increase over the first quarter, alongside net income of US$7.7 million for the first half of the year.
The high all-in sustaining cost of roughly US$46 per silver-equivalent ounce leaves the company vulnerable to changes in the metal's price, which has cooled significantly from its peak. However, the leverage to the silver price remains a significant advantage for Silver X Mining, with every dollar move in the silver price translating directly to the bottom line.
The company is focused on expanding production while enhancing operational efficiency and resource growth. Its flagship project, Nueva Recuperada, has seen significant growth, with quarterly production hitting records in both the first and second quarters of 2026. The company is targeting a throughput ramp to reach roughly six million silver-equivalent ounces a year by 2029.
