A delegation of South Korean feed and food corn buyers toured the United States to strengthen relationships with U.S. suppliers and learn about grain quality, production, and export systems.

The group, led by Haksoo Kim, USGBC director in South Korea, visited Nebraska, Kansas, and Washington. They met with key players in the industry, including Payton Schaneman of the Nebraska Corn Board, to discuss the state's agricultural production.

In Nebraska, they toured Chief Ethanol and CPI Hastings Elevator to observe distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) production and see how U.S. corn moves through the supply chain.

The delegation also visited Nunemaker Farm in Kansas, where they assessed local corn crop conditions and learned about corn use in livestock production.
