Soybean Prices Rebound on Improved Conditions and Higher Demand

Soybean prices rose on Tuesday, rebounding from previous losses as contracts gained 4.75 to 9.75 cents per bushel.

The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price increased by 11.25 cents to $12.44.75.

Soybean futures were mixed, with nearby contracts down 50 cents at $1.60 but deferred contracts up 10 to 70 cents. Soy oil prices rose, increasing by 60 to 75 points.

The USDA's Crop Progress report from Monday showed that 75% of the US soybean crop had dropped leaves as of September 27, with harvest progress at 17%, matching the average pace.
