Syrian Gold Prices Rise Amid Global Market Recovery
The price of gold in Syria has risen by 100 Syrian pounds to 16,100 Syrian pounds ($131.97) per gram for 21-karat gold, according to the latest bulletin from the General Authority for Precious Metals Management.
This increase follows a global trend, as gold prices recovered from recent losses due to higher US inflation data and expectations of further monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve.
The selling price of a gram of 18-karat gold in Syria was set at 13,800 Syrian pounds ($113.11), while the buying price stood at 13,500 Syrian pounds ($110.66).
