TAPPICO Plans $1.3 Billion Upgrade of Abadan Lube Oil Plant

TAPPICO, Iran's Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Co., has announced plans to modernize one of its key assets in Abadan. The company will invest about 10 trillion rials over a period of one year in upgrading the Iranol lube oil plant's equipment and restoring refinery capacity.

The project is part of TAPPICO's efforts to increase production, modernization, and employment in Khuzestan province. According to CEO Rouhollah Shahidi-Pour, the company owns interests in Abadan Petrochemical, Iranol Plant, and Pasargad Oil.
