TotalEnergies Sanctions 350 MMcf/d Feedgas Project for Nigeria LNG Expansion

TotalEnergies has taken a major step forward in developing offshore natural gas reserves for Nigeria LNG (NLNG). The company has sanctioned a project to produce 350 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of feedgas, which will be used to power the expansion of NLNG's liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector.

Nigeria is one of the largest producers of LNG in the world, and TotalEnergies' project is expected to increase exports. In fact, exports have already surpassed full-year 2025 volumes, according to recent data. The country's growing demand for LNG, particularly from Asia, has driven this growth.

The addition of new feedgas will be used to power Train 7, which is a critical component of NLNG's expansion plans. This train will increase the facility's production capacity and help meet the increasing demand for LNG.
