TRX Gold Achieves Record Production in Q4 2026
TRX Gold Corporation has announced record quarterly and annual gold production for Q4 2026, exceeding its top-end production guidance of 30,000 ounces. The company's Buckreef Gold Project in Tanzania achieved a record quarterly gold production of 8,173 ounces, representing a 28% increase from the previous year's fourth quarter.
The strong gold price environment also contributed to the company's revenue growth, with an average market price of approximately $4,233 per ounce during Q4 2026. This represents a 26% increase over the prior year comparative period, with the full-year average market price reaching around $4,386 per ounce.
The company has also made significant progress in its processing plant upgrades and expansion plans. The existing 2,000 tpd processing plant has seen improvements in throughput, recovery, and gold production, while the new Semi-Autogenous Grind/Ball mill circuit will provide additional capacity to support higher gold production.
