Turkish Natural Gas Market Sees 46.5% Trade Volume Drop

Turkey's spot natural gas market saw a significant decrease in trade volume on Saturday, down by 46.5% from Friday's totals.

The total trade on the previous day had reached around 9 million liras, but on Saturday it plummeted to approximately 4.8 million liras, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST).

Despite this drop in volume, the price of natural gas remained steady at 17,562 Turkish liras per 1,000 cubic meters.

The cumulative trade volume for natural gas on Saturday reached around 275,000 cubic meters, with Turkey receiving about 104.8 million cubic meters on the same day.
