Turkish Natural Gas Trade Volume Skyrockets by 98.27%

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows that the trade volume on the country's spot natural gas market increased by 98.27% to around 9.57 million Turkish liras on Sunday.

The total trade on Saturday amounted to about 4.8 million liras, indicating a significant jump in activity.

On Sunday's spot market, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas stood at 17,602.86 Turkish liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume reached approximately 544,000 cubic meters.

Turkey received about 93.1 million cubic meters on Sunday, according to available data.
