Turkish Spot Natural Gas Market Sees 59.7% Trade Volume Decline

Türkiye's spot natural gas market experienced a significant decrease in trade volume on Friday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade on Thursday was about 7.7 million liras, but it dropped by 59.7% to around 3.1 million liras on Friday.

The price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market also increased to 18,660 liras on Friday, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume reached approximately 166,000 cubic meters.

Türkiye received about 101.18 million cubic meters of natural gas on Friday.
