Türkiye's Natural Gas Trade Volume Dips 15% Amid Steady Price

Türkiye's spot natural gas market saw a significant decrease in trade volume on Saturday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The trade volume dropped by 15.1% to around 2.8 million Turkish liras compared to Friday's amount of about 3.3 million liras.

The price of natural gas remained steady at 17,156 liras per 1,000 cubic meters on Saturday. The cumulative natural gas trade volume for the day reached approximately 161,000 cubic meters.

Türkiye received around 74.85 million cubic meters of gas on Saturday, with an exchange rate of US$1 equaling 47.87 liras at 2:19 p.m. local time (11:19 GMT) on Sunday.
