Türkiye's spot natural gas market sees 8.1% trade volume rise on Sunday

Türkiye's spot natural gas market saw a notable uptick in trade volume on Sunday, October 4. According to data from Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST), the volume surged by 8.1%, reaching approximately 3.25 million Turkish liras. This follows a total trade volume of about 3.01 million liras on the previous day.

On Sunday's market, the price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas stood at 18,815 liras. The cumulative trade volume amounted to around 173,000 cubic meters. Türkiye received about 88.82 million cubic meters of natural gas on that day.

At 2:10 p.m. local time on Monday, the exchange rate was US$1 equals 49.16 liras.
