The UAE continues to ship liquefied natural gas (LNG) through the Strait of Hormuz despite ongoing security concerns. An ADNOC LNG tanker recently transited the waterway, reportedly switching off its location tracking systems during passage.

ADNOC has continued loading cargoes from its Das Island LNG export facility, with another LNG carrier being loaded at the terminal late last week. This suggests that exports have continued despite the uncertain security environment.
