Ukraine Exhausts Apple Juice Export Quota to EU by Mid-September

Ukraine has reached its annual tariff quota for exporting apple juice to the European Union by mid-September 2026, according to the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club. This means that Ukraine has fully used up its duty-free supply volume available for this year.

The club noted that among the quotas administered on a 'first come, first served' basis, the quota for apple juice has been completely exhausted. Other high utilization rates were recorded for wheat, poultry products, and eggs, with the annual wheat quota of 1.3 million tonnes being effectively allocated in full.

The use of the barley quota grew fastest over the past month, with 122,700 tonnes or 27.3% of the annual volume having been allocated since the beginning of the year. In contrast, the corn quota remains almost unused, with only 6,680 tonnes out of 1 million tonnes having been allocated.

The Ukrainian Agribusiness Club stated that for quotas administered on a 'first come, first served' basis, these figures reflect actual customs utilization. For licensing quotas, they refer to the volumes allocated under import licenses.
